Oh boy.....
Cars are expensive! That's all I have to say! My car, Freddy, is broke right now. but don't worry $660 later it'll be fixed! :) That's a lot of money but I'm ok with it. Some how it all going to work out. But I'm excited because it won't squeal any more when I start it up!!!! Yay!!! I'll have a quiet car again! Whoo hoo!!!! :)

Haha! I'm blogging! So last week....I passed out! Completely! I was working ( I work in a podiatrist office) and he was cutting off a patients toenail and I was watching and all of a sudden I got really hot and had to leave the room. As soon as i left the room I totally crashed against the wall! LOL! It was sooooo funny!!! I couldn't believe it! It wasn't even all that gross. I'd seen it done before....crazy I tell yoU!!! lol

*tear* I'm so sorry to all my friends!!! Yes Frank, I've been busy.....I've missed out on so much in the blog world!! I had a lot of catching up to do!! Good grief!

Here's my random thought...

Does anyone else think computers have a mind of their own? Talk about needing an attitude adjustment!! My new one at work is so picky!! Sometimes, it's just shuts off for no reason at all. It will just all of a sudden show a sign saying...."Shutting down" and I'm like, "Wait! I didn't tell you to do that!" Grrr. Oh well. Technology is a wonderful thing!!! :)

Wow! What a crazy couple of weeks!! Daniel and I went to Ohio to see my folks and had a wonderful time! We got sick for a couple days with the rest of the family but got better and really had a good time. I forgot how crazy the house is with 11 people in it!
The good news.....Daniel and I decided we don't want to live in Ohio. It's WAY too cold!!!! Good grief I think the highest it got up there was 20*. One day it was only 16*!!! I couldn't believe it!
We came home on Christmas eve and spent the next 4 days with his family in Manchester (TN... For those who don't know it's about an hour east of Franklin where I live). They totally spoiled me!!! I love his family soooo much! They're amazing. They take such good care of me. It was a great Christmas!
Then we both got sick again.....got better....and got sick AGAIN!!! So currently we're sick.....got stupid cough and stuffy nose and yucky! It really stinks! Well, actually I can't smell so maybe it doesn't stink...lol...j/k
Oh yeah and we decided on a date for our wedding.......drum roll please!.........May 12th!!!! Yay!! Now we'll start planning! I'm so excited!!!! :)
So yeah, that's been my Christmas vacation! It's been wonderful!

Saturday morning at 6:30am Daniel and I will be flying to Ohio to visit my family! I can't wait! I saw my parents and some of my sisters before Thanksgiving but the rest of them I haven't seen since June!!! Oh man it's going to be great to see everyone again! And....Daniel gets to meet everyone too. Oh yeah and.....I get to be with Daniel for 11 days straight!! Yay!!!!! AND....(that's a lot of and's.) we're taking a new family picture and he gets to be in it!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight was the best night ever!!!! My boyfriend Daniel took me to see the Nutcracker at TPAC. We went to dinner at the Olive Garden and went to walk around Opry Land Hotel. While we were at the hotel he took me to the spot by the waterfall where we had our first kiss and he got down on one knee and got a ring out and asked me to marry him!!!!!! I of course said yes! I knew it was coming, we've been talking about it for 2 months now. But I'm soooooo happy!! I can't stop smiling! Oh yeah and he designed the ring and it's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I'm so impressed!!!! I love it!! But even more I love him!!!! He's the best thing that ever happened to me! He's my other half....I'm so glad God put us together! :)

Okay so they're out!!!!!!! I'm wart free!!!!! Hooray!! The doctor gave me a shot (which I'm a wimp and needles always hurt real bad!) and numbed me real good and I didn't feel anything. He dug the two little buggers out and showed me. They're nasty!!! The big one was the size of a pencil eraser!!!!!!!! It was so nasty!!! But Jen get this.....he put them in a jar!!!! But he kept them. :(

Changing a thought of Christmas

I listened to a religious leader of my church speak tonight and he made a good point that I'd like to share.
Ya know how every Christmas it seems the first thing people ask after the 25th is "so, what'd you get for Christmas?" Is that really all we're focused on? If we were to change just one word of that question it would give a whole new meaning. "So, what did you GIVE for Christmas?" Shouldn't Christmas be focused more on giving that receiving? After all CHRISTmas is about Christ, the most unselfish person ever! I with I could remember the exact quote that he said but it went something like this.
Give of your money you give a little,
Give of your time you give a lot,
Give of yourself and you give everything.
So, just something to think about this CHRISTmas season. :)

Ok so for a long time I've had these two stupid warts on my foot and they hurt like CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! It's just recently been getting worse and it hurts to walk.....and boohoo I'm just a really good winer!!!! But the good news is I made an appointment to get them taken care of!!! YAY!!!! Does anyone know....does it hurt real bad to get them off?? I'm very excited but scared too...I don't do well with pain. :(

Whoa!!! My computer is finally all better so now I can access it anytime! I must appologize for taking a long time to up date this thing. I wonder if I even have any readers out there still. Hello???? Any one there??? Oh poop.....
Anyways.....
So yesterday Daniel (my bf) and I spent all day helping Grandma put up Christmas decorations! It was so much fun!!!!! We were in charge of the outside and i must say it looks "scrumptulecent" I can't wait to go to Opre Land Hotel and see all the lights and everything. It's going to be crimazing!!!
Grandma put 1400 colored lights on our tree! The poor tree isn't even that big. But ya know it looks cool.
oh yeah, and we put up all the nutcrackers....she has 39 of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crazyness!!! But super fun! I love Christmas!!!!!!!!

I'm Super excited for Christmas!!!!! Hooray!!! I've been listening to holiday music in my car and having a great time!! I can't wait for it to start playing on the radio. I wish it would snow around here so it would actually feel like the holidays! I love the change of seasons and I can't wait for all the food, family, and friends! Yay!! :)

Okay....I'm back!!!! So yeah, it's only been FOREVER since I posted anything on here. Life all of a sudden got really crazy!!
So, I met this guy....his name is Daniel....and he's the best thing that ever happened to me!! I guess it's true what they say, "love will come when you least expect it." Wow! I was definitely not expecting this but I wouldn't tade it for anything! Some people say we're rushing things...but I don't think so. I've dated enough guys and knew it was wrong from the beginning but with Daniel it's different. When ya know, ya know...right?! :) Sure we have a TON in common but....this guy cooks really well! He can make anything! He cleans, he loves kids, and he's so sweet!!! My favorite thing is when he calls me just because he was thinking about me and wanted to tell me that he loves me!! Awwww What a guy!!
Ok, so I'm done being sappy, you can go throw up now...;) Have a fabulous day!!

God is amazing! I've always known this but sometimes he sends little reminders of how great He is. I know He loves me and he wants me to be happy. This is short but it's to the point. Go to God for anything....Big or small....He'll help you through it!

Life has a way of surprising you. It never turns out the way you plan....trust me, I've tried!! My life was so different a year ago. I never ever would have dreamed I'd be where I am in my life right now. Life is in no way, shape, or form bad right now....just different.
I'm almost 19 and I love to look back on my life and see what I've done. Some things good some things....not so much. I'm very pleased with the road I've chosen to follow. Life is good. I hope it continues that way. :)

Family.....

I've been thinking a lot about my family lately. I'm really lucky to have them, even though we don't live close anymore, I still talk to them at least once a day if not more. Thank goodness for cell phones!!!
Some people think my parents were crazy to have a big family (8 kids) but I really don't think it was their choice....God wanted us together. Sure we have our issues at times but it sure is nice to know that if something isn't going so good....you've got a big team cheering for you. It's like in the new version of the movie "Cheaper by the Dozen" I love it when one of the girls says, "sure sometimes I want to kill her but, I'd kill for her anytime." It's so true.
I have a friends who can't stand to be at home because they "hate" their families so much. I feel so bad for them. They just don't know what they're missing out on.
My parents are especially great. I'm really close to both of them but I must say I'm a major daddy's girl. I miss him a lot but it's fun when he calls to tell me to tell me about the garden he just planted or what he saw when he went on a walk....and it's fun for me to call him and tell him about the guy who just asked me on a date or tell him new things I learned at school.
I love my family so much! They are amazing! Someday I'll have a family of my own and I pray that God will bless my children with the same experience he has blessed me with.
Take a look at your family....is there more you yourselves can do to make the family a stronger unit? What are you doing to strengthen your family? After all, when business fails you, and friends fail you, and it feels like there's no one left who will be there? Family.... :)

I just have to say that friends are amazing!!! I love hanging out with them. They always make me feel good and I'm always super happy when I'm with them. I'm so lucky to have so many friends. My 3 best friends in the whole world came over tonight!! We had a great time....we haven't seen much of each other for a couple weeks....but maybe it's a good thing. It made it even more super exciting to see them tonight. So my advice to you is....if you don't already have one....find a friend.....they're the best!!! :)

ya know what I have a problem with? I think it's horrible when you're eating dinner with someone and you get food on your face or something stuck in your teeth and they don't tell you!! Or you walk under a tree and you get leaves stuck all up in your hair but you can't feel it and no one tells you. Or you come out of the bathroom and you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe.... AND NO ONE TELLS YOU!!! Come on people...you don't have to announce it to the whole world but if I have something on me that's not supposed to be there I'd like to know about it! I ate dinner with a group of people and looked over to talk to one guy and he'd obviously been done eating for a while and still had something on his chin....no one had told him!! I was so embarrassed for him but also felt bad for the people who were sitting there squirming in their seats trying to decide how to tell him.....come on people!!! Just say it!

Whew....that was a random rant....but thanks for reading....and please be a friend don't let people look stupid or they'll do it back to you! :)
